Retreat and Spiritual tours
Retreat
Looking to escape the daily grind and recharge your body and mind? Join us for a transformative retreat or spiritual tour in the enchanting region of Istria.
Istria itself has a unique energy, with certain spots like Motovun, Mordele, Picugi near Poreč, and Cape Kamenjak near Pula known for their particularly powerful vibrations—perfect for self-healing and personal growth.
Our retreats, typically 2-4 days (often over a weekend or extended weekend), are centered around a specific theme. They combine workshops, dance sessions, art therapies, and group healing practices, with both indoor and outdoor activities.
As part of each retreat, we include a visit to a nearby attraction, allowing you to experience the stunning beauty and healing energy of the Peninsula. These locations, often rich in energy, are ideal for special meditations and other rejuvenating practices.
Spiritual tours
On our spiritual tours, we guide you to unique locations across the Istrian Peninsula, each known for its powerful energy. Visit sacred spots like the dragon lines intersections (Motovun, Mordele, Cape Kamenjak), places of ancient Histrian spirituality (Picugi, Nesactium), and sites linked to the traditions of our Slavic ancestors (Perun Hill on Učka, the Goddess Mokoš viewpoint in central Istria, and more). Depending on the group’s interests, we can also include special meditations and rituals at these remarkable locations.

Dragon lines
According to Marko Pogačnik, the author of the book “Dragon Lines”, Istria is intersected by so-called dragon lines—pathways of electromagnetism and life force that spread across the Earth’s surface like a network. The places where these lines flow and the locations they touch exude a special vibration and creativity. Intentions sent from such places have an increased ability to manifest and materialize. Spiritually, healing and expansion of consciousness are more easily achieved in these locations, and temples or churches are often built precisely on these powerful sites.
According to Pogačnik (also confirmed by Semir Osmanagić, a scientist and researcher of megalithic and pyramidal sites), the most powerful source of positive energy in Istria is located in Motovun, in the center of Istria, where three dragon lines intersect. This intersection is where the church stands today.
One of these lines radiates towards the hills of Mordele and Picugi, home to stone megaliths with tholos structures.
The spirituality of Histrians
The civilization responsible for lifting the megaliths at Mordele remains unclear, but it is highly probable that the megaliths at Picugi were erected around the 8th century BC, during the time of the Histrians—the ancient inhabitants of Istria whose spirituality remains largely unexplored. However, by synthesizing available information, we can conclude that the ancient Istrian ancestors were deeply spiritually advanced.
The Histrians primarily worshiped female deities, since woman brings life. Their understanding of time was tied to the lunar cycle, closely linked to the menstrual cycle of women. Some of the most significant Istrian goddesses include Histria, the supreme goddess of the Histrians (similar to the Greek goddess Hekate), Boria, the goddess of the wind, and Nebra, the storm goddess.
Picugi, along with Nesactium, were among the central spiritual hubs of the ancient Histrians, although traces of their presence can be found throughout the Istrian Peninsula.
Old Slavic Spirituality
The spirituality of the Histrians continued even after their conquest by the Romans, though the exact time of its decline remains unclear. What is certain, however, is that with the arrival of the Slavs in this area—before their conversion to Christianity—the Old Slavic religion was practiced here. Much like other spiritual traditions, the ancient Slavic faith emphasized harmony with the rhythms of nature.
The Old Slavic Spirituality spoke of duality through the divine struggle between the two supreme gods, Perun and Veles. This duality reflected the constant cycles of day and night, the changing seasons, and the interplay of life and death—concepts later mirrored in Catholicism through the duality of good and evil. According to this belief system, the goddess Mokoš, the mistress of life and death, later became the figure of Mother Mary in Catholicism.
With the Christianization of the Slavs, these ancient beliefs survived in folk customs, toponyms, and even in the figures of Christian saints, many of whom were in fact transformed Old Slavic deities. This adaptation allowed the Slavic ancestors to continue honoring their gods and preserving their spiritual practices.
Although rich and complex, the Old Slavic spirituality has remained largely unexplored. However, through place names and other traces left behind, we can identify where this spirituality was practiced and where the spiritual centers of the ancient Slavs were located. Many of these places are in Istria.
On our spiritual tours, we guide you to these sacred sites, along with other places of unique vibration. These locations, steeped in fascinating history, are also ideal for various spiritual development programs.
